ASME Bladder Surge Arrestor Tanks

AAtanks ASME-code bladder style surge arrestor tanks are pre-charged hydro-pneumatic tanks for commercial, industrial, municipal well water systems & fire protection systems. AAtanks designs utilize a heavy-duty butyl rubber barrier between the air and water which prevents water logging. Surge arrestor tanks are designed to effectively control water hammer shock and pump start-up / shut-down water surge. Surge arrestor tanks are designed with a larger water system connection to accept potentially harmful water surge pressures quickly with minimal pressure drop.

SSA Surge Arrestor Tanks:

SSA Tanks are ASME-code replaceable bladder type pre-charged surge arrestor tanks. The water is contained in a butyl bladder. Standard sizes from 10 to 5284 gallons. Occasionally, some variations to this standard product line are required to solve specific applications.

SSA Surge Arrestor Air in Bladder Tanks:

SSA air in bladder are ASME-code pre-charged hydro-pneumatic tanks designed to store water between the epoxy lined interior wall of the tank and the replaceable heavy-duty butyl rubber bladder. They are designed to allow the tanks air cushion to be separated from the systems water and to effectively control water hammer shock and pump start-up / shut-down water surge. Standard sizes from 40 to 500 gallons. Standard design working pressure 250 & 500 PSI.
